Hattrick changes, problems

As most of you already have noticed, Hattrick is having some serious problems today. Matches are delayed, the site is going up and down, it’s very slow when it’s up – and now the CHPP interface has been disabled. Hopefully not for long, while the HT’s debug all the other problems.

This of course leads to delays on Alltid too. I think the site should handle the problems gracefully though, even if the new errors the CHPP interface throws are undocumented so far. Be the site should manage, and there shouldn’t be other problems than slow updates. I hope :)

Update: The chpp interface is open again, and everything seems a lot more responsive. Good work, HT-people!

Firefox Extension v1.2.0 - HT Live Autosave

The live session manager functionality has been updated in this new version. It now has an “autosave” functionality. Whenever you update your list of matches in the live viewer, the extension will automatically save your matches. If you get a server timeout, or your browser crashes, you can then easily reload all your matches by choosing the “autosaved” option in the session selector.

Get the Alltid Firefox Extension for this functionality. Also see the previous post about the HT Live Session Manager for more information.

To give everyone a chance to test this, we’ve given 1 extra trial week to everyone with previously expired trial periods.

CHPP changes, problems

Hattrick has changed the way CHPP applications like Alltid interacts with the data from Hattrick. This might cause some problems, as I’m sure most of you already have noticed with a lot of apps.

At Alltid we’ve so far found these problems:

  • #500: Missing bookmarks
  • #501: Alltid HTLive Manager gone
  • #502: The rating calculator fails
  • #506: HT Live Manager Match update fails
  • #519: Normal tactic shows disastrous skill

The first big test for us will be the imports this weekend. We know that there are still problems with the XML output from Hattrick, with some fields showing wrong values, among other things. Hopefully this will be fixed before the weekend. If you notice anything wrong, report it at our bug report tool and we’ll be happy to look at it.

Alltid Supporter: Moneybookers

We have gotten a lot of complaints about using Paypal as a payment gateway for our Alltid Supporter options. It’s not available in every country and it doesn’t support bank transfers or local debit cards.

Today that has changed, as we have added Moneybookers as a payment option for those who prefer that. It supports almost twice as many countries as Paypal, and you can use an almost endless option of payment methods. When you select to use Moneybookers you are presented with a choice of transfering from your Moneybookers account or with bank transfer. If you choose to create a new account, you will have the option of transferring money to the MB account using several other options, then you can use that to pay Alltid Supporter.

I hope those of you who were previously unable to get Alltid Supporter are happier now :)

I also changed the supporter page layout a bit, to give more info about what you get. If it looks a bit strange, just refresh it.
